I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2001, having studied Latin, Religion and enough history courses to cover the Dark Age of Greece to the 1950s. I’ve taught courses on historical subjects with OLL for several years including the six wives of Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, infamous women from ancient times to the Eighteenth Century and the French Revolution. I am a compulsive book-buyer and stationery hoarder.
My current favourite harridan is Catherine de’ Medici, bringer of forks to France and inventor of high heels.

You blog is a delightful discovery, found while researching dear Touchet.
Fearless, unconventional women are always far more interesting!
